Could be a possible 7th round pick. We do have two.

LaRod Stephens-Howling displayed speed and elusiveness as a starter and backup tailback the past four seasons with the Pitt football program, and the Greater Johnstown High School product was hopeful those abilities would help him secure a spot in the NFL this year. Stephens-Howling was among about a dozen former Panthers working out for representatives from 30 NFL teams Tuesday during Pitt’s pro day at the UPMC Sports Complex’s indoor field. “I think I did good, but I tweaked my hamstring during the second 40,” Stephens-Howling said. “So, I think I could have done a lot better. I was very satisfied with 18 bench reps (225 pounds). So, that was good. “But as I was telling the scouts, I’m very disappointed that I couldn’t do the shuttle and cone drills. Those are my two best things with my quickness. That would’ve brought it up a little for me, but I think I still did pretty well.” Stephens-Howling ran the 40 in 4.41 seconds, the fastest time on the day, and his bench press numbers were nearly as strong as a couple linemen. - Dale Grdnic, The Tribune-Democrat

Without a doubt an UDFA type. I mean come on 4.1 yards a carry is horrible for a college RB. And only 21 yards per kickoff return. The only thing this guy did well was special teams tackles.

Yeah I think you are right. I'm surprised they are wasting a visit on him but

I actually heard a lot of draft guys comparing him to a Sproles type back and if not mistaken might be taken in the draft...higher than a 7th round pick is what they are saying bears any weight. Just citing what I heard, and you guys could possibly be right but there seems to be an interest in him

Sproles is a lot more solid and built for this small size in my opinion and I tend to agree with what most have said on this post

5'6.5" 180#, 4.41, 18reps at 225? pretty solid numbers for someone behind lesean mcCoy. He was a solid special teams player, getting the game ball against Syracuse for ST play. At least we're sure our scouts are scouring the areas looking for backs and pr/kr.. who knows what other gems they've uncovered on defense in the front seven... I'm excited about this draft and UDFA...

I am too Lauraw, I feel very comfortable with Whis in the mix with our drafting and of instead of being scared of what may happen as in some past drafts, I look forward to seeing what surprises our staff comes up with that will workout out...bottomline...I have confidence in our staff in getting the right guys

I really like how fluid Stephens-Howling is at changing direction at full speed. He can really kick it outside in a hurry.

Is this the new tread? The Cards are gonna draft guys with hyphenated last names?

From some of the clips I saw, he reminds me a lot of Felix Jones. I'd be fine with us deafting him in the 6th.

No kidding, getting more common every year it seems.
I'm guessing a lot of these kids could realistically wear a jersey with:
