What about Brandon Brooks? Do you think he's moved up to round 2 ? I know the publicity around him has increased the last couple of weeks.

Also a lot of posters like Bruce Irvin. Why do you not think he's a good fit for Arizona?

Jake Bequette is really intriguing. 6'5" 274 with a 6.90 three cone time! Don't know much about him though.

I really like Brandon Brooks when I thought he could OT. From what I have seen, I don't think it is a fit for him, and I don't think he moves well enough for what we ask our offensive guards to do.

Bruce Irvin is an explosive pass rusher without a real position. I like him in regards to what he can do on 3rd down, but I'm not sold on his ability to play OLB in our scheme. I like him, think he can make an impact, but might be limited in setting the edge outside.

Jake Bequette has caought my attention, and I am really liking him as a mid round option at OLB. Big guy, but really strong at point of attack and has some rush moves (a really effective bull rush). He is versatile enough to move around in different packages and I view him as the JJ Watt of this years OLB crop. Not flashy, but so physical and grinding that he will wear you out. Hell, I would say very similar playing style to Justin Smith, but not big enough to be at DE full time.

Kelemete, Johnson and Taylor all interest me.

I love Brooks.

Lindley is at the top of my "Please! Don't do it!" list.

ESPN or NFL Network is reporting that they believe that Trumaine Johnson will probably go in the second round.

You can bet on it---and it would surprise me if the Patriots took Trumaine Johnson at #31.

He fits the new rage for DBs---tall, athletic and versatile (CB, Nickel CB/S).

So who do you think has the biggest upside potential at the CB position, after Claybourne and Gilmore come off the board. I've heard the possibility of Gilmore at #10 to the Bills already.

Who after them Jenkins and Kirkpatrick has the best shot? I've heard good things about Shaun Prater, but he's not tall. Many aren't. I know you like the GA. kid Boykin.

I absolutely love CB Brandon Boykin and if he is on the board at #80, I would make him the pick. He's fierce in the nickel---and that will be his trademark on the NFL. Very good KO returner as well.

Other CBs I think are very good fits for us:

Chase Minnifield, 6-0, 185, Virginia. Might be the best fit of all for us because he's a lot like Ike Taylor---good size, hits a ton and plays with excellent intensity and awareness. Can be used at safety as well.

Josh Norman, 6-0, 203, Coastal Carolina. Very similar to Minnifield. Physical and aggressive.

Robert Blanton, Notre Dame---good hitter, good size 6-0 197, makes good breaks on the ball.

Leonard Johnson, Iowa St. 5-10, 198---watched him blanket Justin Blackmon in Iowa St.'s upset win and thought, wow, this kid brings it every play.

This is why I'd like to trade down a tad. We need an extra pick this year.

We HAVE TO ADDRESS - OT, WR, I/OLB, CB, S, DL depth.

We can't do that with enough highly rated prospects with a 1,3,4,5,6a,6b.

We need at least another 3rd. Is it worth moving down for a shot a another very good prospect later? If one of our main targets in on the board, I'd think we'd better get a 2nd for our pick if we give it up!

Depends on who is on the board at #13---we can't pass up a great fit unless we think we can still pick him by trading down.

Would Cards be interested in LB Emanuel Acho, Texas? He is Sam's younger brother. He is a little smaller than Sam at 6'2" 238 lbs. He like Sam is a very smart player. But would the Cards really want brothers on the team at the same position?

Actually, jammer, Emmanuel plays inside and could be a good SILB. I think that if he slides into the 6th round, the Cardinals would draft him if they haven't drafted an ILB already.

We also still have Sturdivant on the team, and he'd still have to beat out Walker. But sure a 6th for Sam's bro would be a decent pick unless that punter guy is still on the board. :p

Actually the guy from Texas we'd want as a SILB is Keenan Robinson. Not Emmanuel Acho. Talk about a guy who is getting overlooked and would be a steal if he drops past the 4th round.

Omar Bolden is my top middle rounds pick.

Hes Marshall 2.0 and if Marshall was the MVP of our D, as Horton says, then Omar is a cant miss for us.

He's even a 4th round steal.

I still can't believe the Cards got Sam Acho in the 4th round. Talk about value.

Him and Dockett. Best values since we got Aeneas Williams in the 3rd round. (At pick 59 AWilliams'd be a late 2nd and still a great value)

That's the year we got Dansby and Dockett, each falling to the top pick of their respective rounds. Straight football picks baggage be damned (which was exaggerated esp. in DD's case).

If we were to get Keenan Robinson in the 4th, and Omar Bolden in the 5th -- that would be an amazing draft in itself.

Bruce Irvin in the third is the only pick I would consider if he is there. Getting Decastro in the first round and then Irvin in the third would be the best draft that I could hope for with those two picks.

I think that Alshon Jeffrey (WR, South Carolina) falls to the 80th pick in the draft, and the Cards pick him up.

Krang will be doing backflips.
