Okay, I'm a little confused. My total came to $433 with fees for 2 seats. But according to the pricing sheet and the seats where I sit (Terrace corners), Wild card is 60 per seat, division playoff is 75 per seat and NFC championship is 130. If I add up those prices for my seats, that's 530 not including the fees. Why is my invoice less than what the pricing sheet is saying?

edit: or is this just the first round of payments they are expecting and will bill us for the remainder due later? I forget from last year....

edit #2 - okay i think I answered my own question. i added up the divisional and nfc game and then it equaled. I think the Cards are banking on us winning the NFC west and therefore not needing the wild card game.

Kate I hear ya! I am in the same boat as I was last year. But when it was all said and done I didnt miss either playoff game, I only paid twice what I would have had I bought my tickets when I got the invoice. I cant afford it, but I also cant not do it. It is Cards football and this is only the second time in thier history in AZ that we have a real shot at home playoff games. Visa will have to handle it and I will have to pay the interest.

Kate do it, you will regret it if you dont!

I hear ya man. I hear ya. Last year was incredible and I know I'll kick myself if I miss out on it this year.... Argh decisions!!!

At least you've got until Dec 10th to come up with the money and/or see if we're still in contention...

Guess it's time for me to check stubhub.

Seriously guys. Get a small personal loan at 1/3 the interest rate that credit cards ding you for. Your local bank we be happy to give you a 7 % loan instead of paying 20% on the credit card.

DHCF,

I'm in the same boat. I'm not putting anything on credit anymore and really can't afford to get the playoff tix this year. It's possible that we could sell our Vikings tickets, but I know the only people that are gonna pay the high prices are Vikes fans, and we don't wanna do that. Koot probably wouldn't like opposing fans screaming in his ear. More than likely, we'll watch playoffs from home this year and give another local Cards fan a chance to see the team. Sucks, but I'm really not interested in spending money I don't have.

Guys, we have until Dec 10 to come up with the money. Get creative, sell stuff on craigslist, forego going out, pick up an odd task, something. I am not the wealthiest person on earth, and I have debt up to my eyeballs from school and poor choices, but I can still find a way to pay for playoff tickets. You can't have no in your heart!

Ok, I know I'm in the wrong forum but couldn't find a more recent one or one that addresses the issue, there was a punt retunr for a TD in the ND Pitt game that listed at 7/1 and settled but paid no money. Any ideas?

You guys could be on the other side of the world for as much as distance matters to Florida.Yet the chance to see THIS CARDINALS team in the playoffs when they showed SO MUCH last year in the BIGGEST games?

I know money is SUPER tough.Especially in the area you guys and gals live in.If you've got 4 kids needing college tuition and this is just too much then thats an absolute sacrifice for the family you have to make.GOD will bless you for that righteous act.

I've never had a garage sale but I've seen neighbors down the street do it and it must make em' money or they would'nt go through all that. You probably will only need money for one home game in the playoffs this year anyway.

At my age I'd love the chance to have to make this tough decison that you folks get to make.Just to have them near your house is so awesome already. If we can somehow get back healthy again before the playoffs we could really be hitting on all cylinders by that time too with a running game and also a better than average run defense,"IF" we can handle AP and CJ before the playoffs get here.Thats a big "IF" too.

Today should be another boost towards our run defense.Next week the only thing the rams can do is run with steven Jackson so it will be a major test to see if we can contain that bull all day.I want Gerald Hayes back for that game since its a division must game, even over playing CJ the next week and possibly going 8-0 on the road.

Forgive me for my side track but I only see ONE home playoff game this year. The first week. Then it'll be the vikes and saints the next two weeks probably. They're schedules are just too easy for them not to get the first two byes & home field. We'll be ROAD WARRIORS this season. All the way to Miami.:D

I would imagine we'll find a way to make it to either the wild card or divisional home playoff game. It's the fact that the NFL makes you pay for both games up front and all at once that hurts. I don't have an extra $500 lying around. As it gets closer to the game, we'll find a way to make it. Next year, since we won't have to drop 7 grand into a new house, we'll have more than enough to get playoff tix.

Remember you can get the championship game money refunded if we don't play that game at home. I know it will be a while till we know if thats the case but with a written request you will be refunded.

Don't the Cards credit the money to your account for next year's season tickets if you don't request a refund in writing?

Vegas, baby, yeah!
I really, REALLY, REALLY want to go to the playoffs this year. But I can't, with my wife about to pop, and work.

I've toyed with the idea of trying to move back to the valley.

I'm really going to miss the playoffs this year. :(

Somewhere down the road, you are going to be very happy you did that at this particular point in time.

When you can get a 2000 sq ft home built in '05 for just over a hundred grand, i can't complain too much. Playoffs from home won't be the same, but there are other more important needs at this point. GOOO CARDINALS!
