Playoff Parking: wtf?

Currently I park in the green F lot with a pass I snagged on ebay, because as a first year holder I was stuck with the brown lot, which I completely understand.

I called today to see about extra playoff tickets and what parking I was assigned. I was told that I was given a Brown pass because that was all that was available when I ordered my playoff seats, BUT if I ordered 3 more seats, they could get me a better parking pass. So the good passes were not available on the 10th when I ordered, but now they are?

So much for rewarding season ticket holders who order their tickets on time. I am thinking about sending in a complaint. Am I out of line on this?

That is kinda BS! I have had a Lot F (Green) pass since the stadium opened. I dont expect one for the playoffs or at least not being able to park there. Last year the Lot F was used for Fiesta Bowl staging so we had to park on the south side of the stadium, it wasnt to bad though.

Honestly, I would have been happy with even a blue lot. But to say it wasn't available when I ordered, but now is available if I buy more tickets is what irritates me the most. They told my friend who has the tickets next to me the exact same thing as well. I guess the around $2000 I have spent on tickets and other purchases this year at the stadium, in a terrible economy, are not incentive enough for an upgrade in parking that essentially costs the team nothing.

Could it be based on playoff ticket purchase? If a season ticket holder (with more senority) had the F lot did not "buy in" to the playoff ticket, wouldn't those passes then become available?

Part of it is that you waited too long to buy your tickets, right?

I am guessing that is the case, but why wouldn't they just assign parking once the seats are sold, or automatically upgrade once the deadline passed? These are the kind of little incentives that help retain season ticket holders in my opinion. Of course, I am probably going to be renewing and upgrading anyways, so they've already got my number.

That I understand, but I would think that when I called to ask about it, they would have been able to reassign me. I wasn't asking for preferred or anything. I would have been happy with blue.

Why would it matter? He bought playoff tickets for his account and they were "out" of spots where he usually parked, but if he buys them now they are available? Lame.

Well I normally have brown, I bought an upgraded pass booklet on ebay. So I wasn't expecting much really. If he had just said that first year holders get brown, I wouldnt care. I am more irked by the fact that I did pay for my tickets, and a lot of people apparently did not, and the only way I can get a better pass is by purchasing at least 3 more tickets.
