Plummer contributed nothing during that first drive.

They might as well put Portus under center.:D

And finished off the FG drive by missing a WIDE OPEN McCaffrey in the end zone...overthrew him by about 5 yards...where have we seen stuff like this before? :trout:

I can't wait to continue to watch Jake play this season - it's so much fun when he's not on your team - it's like watching the three stooges all wrapped up in one.

I thought he would have a decent game due to the fact that Indy would probably not blitz much and it is the preaseason...but that was about the worst series I have seen by a qb in awhile (or at least since the cardinals last season!).

Personally I like Jake...I wish him all the success in the world(except vs. Az)..I don't think he's the second comming or anything...but it was kind of sad to watch him struggle like that....OK well part of me was a little happy...but I do wish him the best..

It was pretty good hearing Madden rip Jake a bit. Wait until around week 8 when everyone wakes up and sees what jake really is. LOL we should get all the Bronco fans shirts that say :stupid:

ummmm, he got lucky on that one??

The cornerback wasn't within 15 yards of the receiver. Also, it did look like Jake underthrew that ball a bit.

You know, it's amazing what Jake can do with someone who knows something about offensive coordinating.

I'm glad we tried to make a pocket passer out of him.

Jake plummer will have a passer rating below 80 this season.

Allan

No, Jake threw a long bad pass...Lelie actually jumped, twisted in mid-air, and made a circus catch to haul it in. Lelie was running expecting the ball to come INSIDE...Plummer threw it to the OUTSIDE, to the flag (aka, front corner of the end zone).

But of course, this had to have been a great play from Jake

Whatever your feelings are on Jake, kudos should go to Shanahan for calling that play on 1st down, and helping Jake get that first series out of his head.

PLUMMER FUMBLES AGAIN!!!! This is how he has been his WHOLE career. Make 4 bad plays (2 fumbles, 1 pass nearly picked, one TD pass WAY overthrow) for every 1 good play he makes (TD pass).
