Why does the NFL still play the Pro Bowl? Every year the players get fake injuries, all they care about is being named to the game to use in contract negotiations. Why don't they just pick a pro bowl team, and drop the game?

It's pointless, it's just not the same as baseball or basketball where you can play midseason and be relatively safe that nobody will get hurt.
