We haven't done this in a while.

Lets see how the signings have affected our outlook. I say 9-7, but then again I always say 9-7.

I too say 9-7 every year. It is almost like a guarantee to squeak into the playoffs. So this year I am going to do the opposite and say 5-11 but hoping for 9-7.

Right now, 6-10 if Lucky. Please, we need a PROVEN wr and a pass rushing DE. If we sign two players that can do this WELL we will be a much much better team. We get a good WR and a great DE and we jump to 8-8 or better.

My prediction is 7-9 IF we address the pass rush gaping opening we have.

If we have no pass rush, then I think we'll be similar to this year, 5-11 or 6-10.

Seattle will be hungry and better than last year. Rams may be down, but SF will be the team to beat.

I'm afraid all I can guess right now is an even .500, at 8 & 8

Just a quick schedule breakdown, for quick refernece

Home:

STL: Loss
SF: Loss
SEA: Win (Why not? We probably would have won this game last year if Jake wasn't under center)
GB: Loss (I don't care how bad their D is, this is a home game for them)
MIN: Loss (Nothing done on D is going to keep us from being steamrolled by the Combo of Culpepper, Moss, and Bennett)
BAL: Loss (This will probably be close, but I give the edge to the team with the true franchise RB, MLB, CB, and safety)
CIN: Win (They are the Bengals, and I think they'll take a couple years to re-build under the Lewis regime)
CAR: Loss (They should have won last year, and they'll be a better team this year)

Away:

STL: Loss (Playing angry, the Lambs sweep the season series)
SF: Win (The Neeners are overrated, and their D still sucks. Season split)
SEA: Loss (Avenging last year's stadium-opening defeat)
CHI: Win (Stewart sucks, and I think the Bears get bit by the injury bug again.)
DET: Win (Won't be good until they get another corner, and this season they're drafting a WR. Look out for them in 2004)
CLE: Win (Does anyone know who plays on this D anymore?)
PIT: Loss
DAL: Loss (The bleeding in Dallas has to stop sometime, and the Cards are due to lose to the 'Boys.)

Total: 6-10 No Roy Williams, maybe Eli Manning.

Are you high? Perhaps you can talk to Antikrist. Do you really think the Cards are going 11-5?

I think 8-8, but if we have injuries like last year, it could be worse.

If we get a pass rush, it could be better.

My main goal for the Cardinals in the near future, is a playoff game at SDS, for a good memory before we move to the new venue.

How about something like the Pats managed a couple years ago?

I am extremely surprised by the amount of people who think that this team as of right now can be anywhere near .500. I say they will be 3-13. There wins will be cinn., sea., and dallas and that is all i can see. This team has no legit #1 or #2 WR, horrible pass rush, no #2 CB and we still need another safety. I just can not see this team winning. I know some of you think im being pessimistic but i think im being realistic. This team needs maybe 5 more pieces before they become a 9-7 or 8-8 team. The five pieces are a CB, depth at safety, 2 DE's, a WR or 2, and a big tackle would not hurt. This is just what i think this team needs to become a playoff contender.

Don't we already have three of them? LJ, Clement, and Big? Perhaps we should trade for O. Pace and his $24 mil signing bonus?

I sorry i did not specify i meant DT. Our O-line is the best thing about this team.

Oh. Sorry, that's exactly what I've been asking for for a couple weeks. What a dick response I gave, too.

7-9 is probable with 6-10 or 8-8 possible.

And the problem is still the defensive line, just like it's always been.

I actually like our LBs and secondary but the passive defensive scheme coupled with a poor defensive line is a killer.

If Wendell Bryant develops, and KVB regains early rookie form, and Dennis Johnson or Alton Moore give us some pressure on the passer AND we find another good DT or DE in the draft, we could be much better than 7-9, but those are a lot of ifs.

... bother/sister (can't assume anyone's gender) - i could be on 100 hits of LSD and i would still predict 6-10 - you're right, 11-5 is VERY unrealistic
