I voted for Channing Frye. How you named 7 other guys without him is beyond me.

Good Call Cheesewater... I don't think any of us expected Frye to play as well as he has. I voted for Dragic and love the improvement he's made with aggressiveness & confidence, but I'll change my vote to Frye as well.

Channing Frye is probably the guy... however, I vote for Dragic. I am shocked to see him drive to the hole with confidence as often as he does. I am shocked to see him cut through a defense and maintain control of the ball. And, I am shocked that this has all occurred in just a 12 month period of time. SHOCKED.

After all the Dragic hate that permeates this board, I'm surprised anyone WOULDN'T vote for him.

I am NOT surprised at Dragic's performance. I supported and defended his selection and illustrated my assessment of his promise last season right here on this board. True, there was a lot of negativity here on Dragic over the last year but it's been good to see some folks come out and give the kid his due.

I voted for Dragic but Frye and Nash are close seconds. Yes, Nash. He's surprised how he's played even better than his MVP years at soon to be 36 years of age.

I agree with those who voted for Frye. Who would have thought Frye would be a solid contributor for the Suns at a critical position (center) before the season started. Also Frye was signed as a FA for a very modest salary.

I'm most surprised by Frye though I was going by prevailing opinions around the league since I'd never paid any attention to him. Dragic is actually disappointing me a bit - I expected him to come on stronger than he has. Early in the year I would probably voted for Hill, the way he was defying his age and injury history. You can also make a similar case for Nash now. Heck, even Amare has surprised me quite a bit - not only has he apparently recovered from the eye injury he seems to matured to some extent.

As others have said, how can you make this poll without mentioning Frye? My vote is for Frye. Dragic is a very close second.

+Positive surprise?
I voted Nash,he just keeps getting better offensively, and thats scary for the rest of the league. I thought he would begin to show major signs of slowing this season by now....I was wrong.

-Negative surprise?
That E. Clark hasn't pushed for PT by playing better....and that Gentry hasn't found a way to get him involved regularly. Basically MIA since the end of October.

Sorry guys. Im not making **** up here, but i actually had Frye in the Poll as an option, but I changed the number of options and i deleted him, and forgot to replace him. So Im classing Frye as an "other" vote.

I would have to say Goran. All indications are this guy was a mistaken pick. That was as of the pre-season as well. I don't remember the last time I had seen a guy play so awful at times (maybe sans 2 games) in the pre-season and that didn't carryover to the regular season.

At least that years draft won't be a total loss. Despite one OK game by Lopez, he looked freaking horrible last night. Man...the guy looks worse in person.

Must have watched different games, because I didn't think Robin was that bad at all. He didn't make any stupid mistakes like usual, and was definitely hacked big time without a call. His free throw shooting was bad, but you expect that. Besides, in the first half he was much better than LB was.

It's gotta be Dudley! Dragic showed flashes last year. Dudley at the top or near the top in 3 point shooting in the NBA? How can you guys overlook that. Arguably, if you had put Channing Frye on there I would have voted for him. I think the players in the NBA are stunned by his play.

Ditto you remarks. To add to them, we will NEED Lopez when we play the Lakers in the playoffs. No one else matches up with their center (Bynum) on our team except Lopez. He's the only guy to somewhat slow him down.

Geez, this was about this one single game. You hate the kid, fine, we get it. But that doesn't mean you can say something nice once in a while if he deserves it.

Frye would have edged Amare, but I didn't see his name on the list. Well, Amare coming back from injury must be the most surprising. Considering the management was will to ship him out for such garbage deal like GS's and was reneged on like that, you could derive how their expectation for Amare was. Now he is a better defender and smarter at having the ball in his hands. With his conditioning slow coming back, his rebounding has improved, in addition to his learning by doing to adjust to his less athletic new body.

Nash is not a surprise as we all know how consistent he is. He has definitely profited a bit from the slower pace under Gentry this year. But he has also been consistently turning the over in line with the trend he follows in the last two years.
