I believe we signed Matt Davidson a week ago, so now we just have Bobby Borchering left to sign and Eric Smith left to sign.

Gotta love hearing that. Aside from Borchering, other notables left to be signed are Chris Owings (SS, Supplemental 1st), Eric Smith (RHP, 2nd), Matt Helm (local 3B from Chandler, 7th rounder), and Patrick Schuster (the high school lefty who threw four consecutive no hitters, 13th round pick, apparently looking for 2nd round money).

I hear Borchering is looking for around $2M, Owings is a solid S. Carolina commit but Hall mentioned they think they have a good chance at signing him. Smith will sign I believe but Helm and Schuster will probably end up at Arizona and Florida respectively as both are looking for money well above their draft slot. RHP Charles Brewer is an intriguing guy, former Chaparral HS star, pitched for UCLA signed as well.
