Pooh's Heffalump Movie

Release Date: February 11, 2005
Studio: Walt Disney Pictures
Director: Frank Nissen
Screenwriter: Brian Hohlfeld, Evan Spiliotopoulos
Genre: Animation, Family

Plot Summary: Awakened by a rumbling that could only be made by the much-feared Heffalump, the Hundred Acre Wood crew sets forth to catch the dreaded creature. Disregarded as too young to partake in such a dangerous expedition, Roo opts to search on his own - with far greater success than his friends. But in meeting a young, playful Heffalump named Lumpy, Roo quickly discovers that Heffalumps are nothing like what he's been told, and that the creature is equally afraid of Roo's silly pals. Roo and Lumpy strike up a sweet friendship and work together to dispel the unfounded fears of their respective friends and families.

My kids are wanting to see this movie so badly! They are big Pooh & Friends fans. They have next Friday off of school. I'm sure we'll be seeing this then. I just hope it doesn't put me to sleep like the Sponge Bob movie did!

Well, we did it, we went to see the Heffalump movie! I was actually quite impressed with it! (Granted, I love Pooh and friends, but still...) The kids laughed and cried both sad and happy tears! It was a very sweet story about friendship and not judging others till you get to know them.

If you have kids, or are a kid at heart still, go see it! It's adorable!

According to www.moviefone.com this movie was #5 in the box office last weekend! Beating out Wedding Date, Hide and Seek, Sideways, The Aviator and Meet the Fockers. So I'm guessing there are A LOT of families out there that were (and are) quite happy that there is something good and wholesome to take the kids to see! :D
