Posting photos everywhere

I post here and several other boards, as well as have my own blog. I don't know much about the subtlties of online stuff like this, but I do know that in order to upload a picture here or somewhere else it first needs to BE somewhere first (right?).

I've heard about photobucket, and blogger.com has a free picture hosting service as well. I would like something that's free. What websites/programs work well, with sufficient space and ease of use so that all I have to do is put a photo somewhere and will get the address thingy to slip into a message board or blog post?

Do you have Cox Internet? If so you get free webpages for each email box and you can have up to 7. I use one for just pictures I want to host.

personally, i love photobucket. it gives you the codes that you need under every picture and you can put a lot of pics in there, too

A lot depends on the forum system. This one for instance, allows you to post images directly in a thread without hosting them somewhere first.
