I am having a problem with the computer not going into stand by mode.
When I am in "Power Options Properties" I check save the power scheme as
" Home/Office Desk"
I then click on ok and I get the following error message:
Power Policy Manager Unable to set policy box
and it syas "indicates two revision levels are incompatable"
What does this mean and how do I fix it as The computer never goes into stnd by or sleep mode. I'm worried about screen burn.
Its a problem as there are several people who use the computer and they can't be depended on to shut the computer down.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Note that I'm running Windows XP w/service pack 2
