Sports Weekly has their annual rankings - No surprise, DBacks are 21 overall, 11 in the NL, and 4th in NL West. Points out several players have 'something to prove' to the baseball world or former teams, and we darn well better hope they can do so. They believe even if everyone else does better than they expect, we still could have serious bullpen problems.

Ah well - I-10 therapy runs for fans, too.

Online rankings of USA Today/Sports Weekly along with blurb NL Preview

Somewhat surprised to see them ranking SD behind both SF and LA, but the NL West is pretty open with a myriad question marks. They also seem convinced that Carlos Delgado is going to bring the Marlins up a level or so.

* I-10 therapy for Dbacks fans still there... I'll also be looking into MLB extra innings and occasional SW Airlines baseball weekend therapy.

I get MLB Extra Innings through DirecTV and I can't imagine being without it.

What does MLB extra innings give you that I can't get through the myriad of local fox networks and espn games? just curious

From the MLB site, MLB Extra Innings offers about 60 games per week. Just must observe local rules about blackouts, etc. So... if interested in baseball as a whole or one or more particular other teams besides the locals, appears to be worth looking into.
