I'm curious if this is being done purposely to not only help speed up his progress but also to help build up his confidence.

He mentioned they had been picking on him recently an an interview yesterday, I dont doubt for a minute the coaches dial it up to throw his way, test him out and build his confidence.

where are you getting information on who he is picking off? I doubt HB is running against the 2nd team O so unless Palmer is off today, they could very well be Palmer passes.
