Martin Prado homered off Ken Takahashi with one out in the 12th inning, and the Atlanta Braves beat the New York Mets 8-7 Wednesday after wasting three leads. Gary Sheffield tied the score in the eighth with his second home run of the season and No. 501 of his career, and the Mets bounced back after trailing 2-0, 4-2 and 7-6.
