At the beginning of free agency, the Chargers had some glaring holes on the offensive side of the ball. Some concerns were addressed, but wide receiver and tight end were hardly touched.

Those were arguably the team's two biggest needs, and that leaves a lot of room for concerns ahead of the NFL draft.

Let's predict what the Chargers' starting offense will look like in 2025.

Quarterback: Justin Herbert

Shocker here. Herbert played phenomenal football in 2024 once he got fully healthy, and his supporting cast should be a bit better next season. Get him one (or two) more weapons and this offense would be lethal.

Running back: Najee Harris

Harris signed with the Chargers early in free agency and should be a solid starter in Los Angeles for a year or two. He doesn't necessarily figure to be a long-term guy for the position, but he should do well in Jim Harbaugh's system. The team still needs to find a legitimate backup for Harris, as there is minimal experience behind him at the moment.

Wide receiver: Ladd McConkey, Mike Williams, Quentin Johnston

Many hoped the Chargers would find a true No. 1 wideout this offseason, and that possibility looks extremely slim by now. The last starting spot here is up for grabs between Johnston and a rookie. Johnston is entering Year 3. While he led the team in touchdowns last season, he still struggled with dropped passes.

Tight end: Colston Loveland

I am going to call my shot and say that Loveland will fall to pick No. 22, and the Chargers are going to draft him, finally resolving their issues at the position and finding a bonafide pass-catching tight end for the first time since Hunter Henry was playing in the powder blues.

Offensive line: LT Rashawn Slater, LG Zion Johnson, C Bradley Bozeman, RG Mekhi Becton, RT Joe Alt

This group could evolve into one of the best units in football. The front office made a phenomenal signing late in free agency in right guard Mekhi Becton. With his immense size, he fits the theme of this unit, and center really is the only concern amongst this unit. Bozeman gets the nod over Andre James due to his familiarity with the system. It wouldn't be surprising if they took a guard in the draft to compete with Zion Johnson for the starting job.
