With the dust having settled on free agency, what might the Jacksonville Jaguars starting offense look like in 2025?
Now, of course, the caveat here is that the NFL draft still has to take place, and whether it will be on offense or defense, additional contributors will still be added to the roster, which can change what this lineup projection can look like.
But given what we know now, along with some educated guesses, let's predict who is on the field on offense for the Jaguars come Week 1.
Quarterback: Trevor Lawrence
No explanation is needed here.
Running back: Travis Etienne
The term "starter" at this position likely doesn't carry much weight. We are going to see a lot of Tank Bigsby, Etienne, and potentially a rookie draft pick could be a part of the equation as well. Etienne was the "starter" last season so we will leave it that way for now.
Tight end: Brenton Strange
GM James Gladstone has spoken very highly of Strange and what he can add to Liam Coen's offense, helping to fill that do-it-all type of role at the tight end position. Although similar to running back, we will see a lot of Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long as well.
Wide receiver: Brian Thomas Jr., Dyami Brown, Parker Washington
Washington moved into a starting role during the second half of last season and was able to produce in several of those games. We could also see Gabe Davis among the starters or even a rookie who is selected in this year's draft. The challenge in projecting this position is some of the unknowns that come with a new offense and who might fit best.
Offensive line: LT Walker Little, LG Ezra Cleveland, C Robert Hainsey, RG Patrick Mekari, RT Anton Harrison
Gladstone has built up a lot of depth here. He also re-signed Cole Van Lanen and added Chuma Edoga and Fred Johnson in free agency. With 10 draft picks, adding to this position is in play as well. I think fostering competition is going to be a key element this season. But as of now, this is who I'm predicting will start up front.
