1. Penn St. will KILL Indiana. Joepa's team is maturing well after a slow start.

2. Bama will upset Tennessee. Shame it can't be a tie. Hate them both.

3. Mich. St./Ohio St. will be closer than most think. Upset? Not quite.

4. UCLA/Cal is a toss-up. Maybe an upset.

5. Irish will beat USC. Yup. Bank on it. Weis is 5-8 against ranked teams when his own team is unranked and this USC team, favored by 20 on the road, ranked #13, is still overrated.

6. Kentucky, the favorite, will beat Florida.

7. Miami/Flo. St. Hope Miami wins.

8. Texas Tech/Mizzou? No clue. Hope Mizzou wins.

9. Stanford/UA. Stanford wins another.

10. Michigan/Illinois is the week's best match-up. Wolverines continue righting their season and beat Illinois.

11. Auburn/LSU? I'll watch it, hoping Auburn wins it to hang both Florida and LSU pelts on the coach's wall, the year he tells Aubrun fans to shove their job and walks away.

I don't think kill will be the final outcome. Indiana can score, just can't stop.

2. Bama will upset Tennessee. Shame it can't be a tie. Hate them both.

Not an upset to me. Both are 2nd tier SEC teams. Toss up.

3. Mich. St./Ohio St. will be closer than most think. Upset? Not quite.

Agree. MSU is healthier now and not Kent State.

4. UCLA/Cal is a toss-up. Maybe an upset.

Does UCLA have a defense to slow down Cal or an offense to keep up with Cal?

5. Irish will beat USC. Yup. Bank on it. Weis is 5-8 against ranked teams when his own team is unranked and this USC team, favored by 20 on the road, ranked #13, is still overrated.

Nah. Notgonnahappen.

6. Kentucky, the favorite, will beat Florida.

Could happen . It is played in Lexington and I thought the SEC East would come down to these 2 teams.

7. Miami/Flo. St. Hope Miami wins.

Two "has been" teams that are badly coached and stocked with over rated players. Whom ever loses this one will be in deep excrement. This one could be a blow out. FSU should win it.

8. Texas Tech/Mizzou? No clue. Hope Mizzou wins.

Shoot out. Tough one for Texas Tech to pull off in Columbia, MO. Lotsa points. Hope I can find this one on the tube. Graham Harrell to Michael Crabtree is worth the price of admission all by themselves. Chase Daniels is a very decent QB. Over and under should be a 100.

9. Stanford/UA. Stanford wins another.

Could cost Stoops his job.

10. Michigan/Illinois is the week's best match-up. Wolverines continue righting their season and beat Illinois.

Michigan finally on the road against a decent opponent. This would make Illini season a bonafide success. Toss up.

11. Auburn/LSU? I'll watch it, hoping Auburn wins it to hang both Florida and LSU pelts on the coach's wall, the year he tells Aubrun fans to shove their job and walks away.

Night game on the Bayou. Can't see Tommy and Auburn coming out of their alive. This one could save Tuberville his job, but the " Bama game could lose it" when all is said and done.

Hey Skorp. No interest in Thursday night's South Florida - Rutgers tussle?

Rutgers just might pull off the shocker. It is being contested in New Joisy.

Oh, crap, Wally. I forgot about that Thursday night game. Can't wait to see it. Have got no feel for this one. Your track record is better than mine anyway so Rutgers will probably win.

Herbstreit is beating up on the Bulls pretty harshly on ESPN.

I think you're being a bit hard on FSU's talent level. You're right, Miami needs better players. FSU just needs better coaching. And yeah, FSU might win in a romp.

The Irish suck. We all know that. As long as the ball is not round, has points on both ends, and the game is played by immature youngsters, anything can happen. I watched the Irish upset of UCLA. 7 turnovers by UCLA? Was that correct? Sheesh. If those two teams replayed that game 10 times, UCLA would win in a romp 10 times.

I'm just glad ASU has the week off and thus can't get upset.

Good picks Skorp.

Penn State didn't exactly crush Indiana, but they hung on.

Bama exposed Vols and Fullmer.

MSU needs an offense.

Somebody please win the Pac 10. Cal/UCLA outcome just might convince Tedford to take another job. Texas A & M ????

Miami/Fla State game proved that when 2 crappy teams square off, the entertainment factor can still provide decent viewing.
