Predictions for our first preseason game...

No starters and the game does not count, but it does not prevent us for making some predictions. Here is mine... between Gabbert and Knight, they will have more rushing yard in a single game than Stanton and Palmer will have all season combine

Brandon Williams will almost have a great game and lots of people will incorrectly assume he can play CB in the NFL. This combination gives us 2 weeks of gloriously snarky commentary from K9.

Not much. These games (HOF game) tend to be snorefests. Not much memorable stuff happens outside of them having to cancel it a couple years ago because they put the wrong paint on the grass. That and Vai Sikehema returning a punt for a TD in 1986.

I predict even in a meaningless first preseason game some people here will still whine and cry about how the Cards will suck this season after another bad special teams play and will call for BA to be fired for not dumping Amos Jones. Am I right?

Prediction: I'll have too much to drink before the end of the game, and struggle getting my kids to swim practice at 5:15am the next day.

Actually, I'm heading over to a buddy's house for the game. He and his son are fanatical Dallas fans, and I suspect they are hoping to hurl insults at me all night.

Last time I went to their house for a game, it was for the Cards/Panthers NFC final, where his wife, a "Panthers fan" who can pick out Cam on the field, but that's about it, got to taunt me most of that evening. To make matters worse, the previous season, we watched the Cards/Panthers snooze fest playoff game together at their beach house in the Outer Banks, as the game was starting, she decided she should "maybe be a panthers fan", since she owns a beach house in Carolina.

They're really good friend, but I REALLY need the Card's to back me up tonight.
