Mar. 29—HOOVER — Will Sharp was dominant on the mound for Hartselle on Friday, allowing just three hits and one walk over five shutout innings as the Tigers picked up a 10-0 win over St. Edward (Ohio) at the Hoover Buc Classic.

Sharp finished with five strikeouts for Hartselle, throwing 41 of 63 pitches for strikes. He faced just 19 batters.

Witt Crisler doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the Tigers, while Lachlan Kennedy and Keaton Lance added a single and one RBI each. Eli King, Cain Falciani, Ty Marsh and Cole Miles had one RBI each.



Falkville 17, Susan Moore 6: Denver Comstock went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs in a big win for Falkville on Friday.

Bryant Owens had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs for the Blue Devils, while Mason Moore and Bron Gandy added two hits and one RBI each.



West Limestone 6, Clements 0: Trent Thornton pitched four shutout innings to earn the win for West Limestone on Friday, allowing just two hits and no walks while striking out three.

Jayden Burford and Landon Smith had one hit and one RBI each for the Wildcats, while Thornton added one RBI.

Brady Turner, Jason Harwell and Wyatt Albriton had one hit each for Clements.



Ardmore 11, Randolph 10: Keaton Johns went 4-for-5 with four RBIs for Ardmore on Friday.

Cole Clinard and Skyler Jean had two hits each for the Tigers and Dylan Rodgers pitched four innings for the win, striking out two.



Elkmont 15, Oakman 5: Lincoln Doner went 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs to lead Elkmont on Friday.

Andrew Staggs tripled, singled and drove in three runs for the Red Devils, while Jake Guthrie added three hits and one RBI. Corder Hobbs had an inside-the-park homer, and Jake Hargrove pitched all six innings for the win, striking out eight.



Lauderdale County 5, Elkmont 1: Staggs had a pair of hits and one RBI for Elkmont on Friday.

JP Pendergrass and Brock Ferguson each had a pair of hits for the Red Devils, while Guthrie added a double.



Vinemont 7, West Morgan 3: Titan Partlow led West Morgan with two hits and one RBI on Friday.

Colby Jones tripled and drove in one run for the Rebels, while Karson Gilliland added one RBI. Carter Stephens had two hits.



Daphne 7, Hatton 0: Bryson Jeffreys singled to account for Hatton's lone hit on Friday.

Dylan Ackerman led Daphne with two hits and three RBIs.



Softball



West Limestone 4, Belvidere North (Ill.) 1: JuliAnn tossed a complete game, striking out 18 batters over eight innings, and hit a walk-off three-run home run for West Limestone on Friday.

Lilee Legg had a single and one RBI for the Wildcats, while Lucee Legg added a pair of hits.



West Limestone 4, Dunlap (Ill.) 2: JuliAnn Kyle was dominant in the circle for West Limestone on Friday, allowing two unearned runs on three hits over seven innings.

Kyle issued three walks and struck out 10, throwing 68 of 105 pitches for strikes. Lilly Bethune had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs, while Haley Waggoner and Brylie Posey added one RBI each.
