First game is tomorrow in Winnipeg against the Oilers. This game celebrates the 10 years since the franchise relocated from Winnipeg to Phoenix.

While it's not on TV, I heard some rumors that the Coyotes were considering wearing the old Jets uniforms in the game. It would be a nice tribute since the game sold out in Winnipeg in minutes.

Unfortunately the game won't be on tv, but it can be heard on KDUS/KFAN (whatever 1060 is calling themselves these days). It looks like Roenick won't play as originally planned to due a slight groin injury.

Its only exhibition, but things arent looking so good. Edmonton has a 3-0 lead at the end of two periods. Phil Sauve just isn't a very good goalie, I'm guessing he's headed to San Antonio in a couple days.

4-0 now, Sauve has allowed 3 of those in just about one period.

The game is now mercifully over, 5-0 Edmonton is the final. Despite only playing a period and a half, Phil Sauve allowed 4 goals. Looks like the back up role is now down to LeNeveu and Morrison.

5-0. Sauve was bad last year and it looks like he's no better.

How in the world did our blueline corps allow five goals? Of course I didn't watch the game, so perhaps they scored 5 on 10 shots.

It was mostly our minor leaguers playing defense that night. Not to mention Sauve had four of those goals scored against him in a period and a half.

Ah, thanks for that clarifying information. That makes sense.
