I never started one of these so I thought I would. I know its early, but wanted to make sure I was the first to post one.

I am stoked about the game even though its preseason. I think we will see all 4 QBs and Thomas will be the 4th guy out. One series for all starters on offense, and 2 series for starters on D. Can't wait to see what Minter, Bucannon, and several others can do. Can't wait!

Sorry Shaggy, but BA is not going to suit up Lindsey today, so Thomas is third man up. Feeley is also not suiting up today, and he and Lindsey will play next week.

Where does it say he is not being suited up. I haven't heard anything on that.

The starters are going to get about 15 plays, maybe two possessions. I would guess it will be determined by the success of the first possession for both sides of the ball. That’ll open up the vast majority of the playing time for the second- and third-units.

Logan Thomas is going to play the last chunk of the game, and after his camp thus far — he’s gotten almost all of the third-team reps since camp opened — it’ll be a big test.

A couple of guys aren’t expected to play because of position-battle preseason rotations — QB Ryan Lindley and K Jay Feely this week — but the Cardinals have plenty at all the positions

– Players to watch in the game? I’ll be curious to see how Bobby Massie looks at right tackle and how John Brown fits. I want to see how guard Jonathan Cooper does against someone who isn’t Calais Campbell. I want to see backup offensive linemen Max Starks — who has an inside track to the roster if he shows well — and Earl Watford. I want to see Justin Bethel at cornerback, Kevin Minter as he begins his starting role and rookies like Deone Bucannon and Kareem Martin on defense.

– Speaking of preseason, here’s a link to the reminders if you are going to the game. It is a sellout, so it will be televised on local TV, on ABC-15.

I saw it on the official site-----BA says Lindley and Feely are down this week and that Thomas and the new kicker are down next week.

I'm starting to get a little antsy, this team has gone great lengths to improve, and now we are considered contenders in the toughest division in all the land. This team has done a 180, the mindset has completely changed with this winner mentality, a transformation that was amazing in it's self... it's so hard to get out of scrubville, it's hard to get the talent, the team to believe, and land some real intelligence to guide the club and a coach who can adjust the gameplan to what the talent and situation dictate. Get your popcorn ready, and no, you won't be throwing it at the TV this year, no remotes will be harmed during the months of August through January. It's about to get crazy, people have been waiting for this.

Can't wait to see BuffCoop over on that side, a lot of our season depends on them, and the Texans have a sweet defense.
Agree. They have a big opportunity to solidify the left side of the line for a long time. When have we been able to say that in the past?

I don't ever remember saying that in the past, but it should give Palmer that inner confidence in knowing he won't be road kill, might result in less turnovers. :D

It has to help Palmer for sure. Just knowing he won't get hit from behind should make him more comfortable in the pocket.

It may sound a bit funny but I want to see Logan Thomas' arm.

He might have more rushing yards than Ellington tonight.
You might be right. Sounds like he is still struggling with control issues and his reads. Which may cause him to pull the ball down and run.

Thomas clearly has the strongest arm on the team but struggles with accuracy.

“He’s still missing too many wide-open guys,” Arians said.

When asked what he’d like to see from Thomas against the Texans, coach Bruce Arians said “throwing it to the right guy -- where his eyes belong, not just picking a guy out. Read the coverages, get it out of his hand and operate more efficiently than he has been in practice.”
