Like I posted in the other thread, according to the suns.com schedule, the October 17th game in Toronto will be carried by NBATV. This game does not appear in NBATV's schedule however; perhaps this is a recent addition.

This is about normal. I think only the outdoor game was on TV last year as well. Probably not worth the production costs and logistics to televise meaningless basketball games with scrubs mostly playing. This isn't the NFL.

Obviously tonight's game isn't being broadcast locally, just on KTAR, and it appears that Sacramento also isn't broadcasting the game except on radio, so there probably won't be any feeds whatsoever to view tonight.

Just guessing....

Hedo Turkoglu is to Vellasco what Shaq is to Andrew.

4 AM is too early. I am definitely not flying to Turkey to watch this game.

Steve

You were too late for that too, Steve. Lets sum all up, There is no direct flight to Turkey from Phoenix, 4 hours to NY or Chicago (add 2 hours there for delay and diff stufs), 11 hours to Istanbul + 2 hours at Airport, 1.5 hours to Izmir and it takes 1 hour to my home by taxi... hmm i guess you were 24 hours late mate.

btw , its 5 am not 4 am, my bad. Damn it was a bit easier when he was in Toronto. At least, ill watch better basketball this year, I hope.

It's probably going to be a Turkish or Slovenian feed because it's not scheduled to be on the air here in America.

I have no idea what to expect from this team but it could end up being a fun year. A lot of movable pieces but what we really need is a piece or two down low that isn't very movable. I know you start this season as a Hedo fan but maybe they'll be entertaining enough to make you a Suns convert by season's end.

I guess no body knows what will come out from this roster too m8, including players and Gentry. I think Its gonna be trial and error style for a while. Its too early to speak with keen words about them. There are lots of issues need to settle down prior the season start. Early ego wars, zone defense, rebounding, conditioning for high tempo.. etc. Contrarily with last year i see a slow start and some +/- 20 loss or wins at the beginning. Definitely rebounding will be whole year issue with this roster. Just like Gentry said, if you score +1 more from your opponent it counts a win ,no matter how much board you takes.

Believe me its not easy to be Hedo Fan. There is always love and hate confliction amongst bbl fans when it comes to him, including his followers like us. He is actually more emotional than he seems. He has some unique skills with his height. You will see he will perform way better this year than previous years. He has something to prove after Toronto fiasco. "Energy Level" is the key word for him. He turns a hell of a player when its high but he can kill you when its down, esp watch out b2b games. Thanks to deep PHX roster this year. I guess he will take less PT than his previous years with this run and gun style.

In last 3 years i have a opportunity to follow Magic, Raptors and Suns boards. I can say that the level of Suns boards is shockingly way different than all for me. Majority of yours are having really way deep bbl knowledge than rest of US, ill not even mention Canadians (They were booing their players at the beginning of games after missing free throws, no need to extra words i guess).

Briefly, believe me if there is a place which deserve my loyalty its definitely gonna be SUNS mate.

Kidding. Inside joke. :)

Welcome to the boards!

Nice. We apprciate your kind comments (I'm sure I do).

There are some intelligent fans of other teams that drop by, but it is hard for us to tell about average fans because a few idiots can give a team's fan base a bad rep. (I get the impression that even Donald gets embarassed by typical Laker fans).

In any case, welcome.

I agree, there are always some annoying geeks here or there. Anyway, suns fan's bell-shape curve seemed more narrower to me (and also i guess your age average is higher than others.)

PS: Haha, Kudos to Andrew. Shaq is the most dominant center i have ever seen in my life. I can easily put him over Dwight (sure im comparing them with their same ages). None of the players impressed me more than him in his early days career. Watch out his performance again under Magics uniform.

Thanks for welcomes, btw.
