Pro Football Weekly Draft Review.

I just received my copy in the mail and wanted to ask your guys/gals opinion on a couple of scenarios.

First let me say I'm not endorsing PFW as the experts on the draft or whether they are better than any other publication or website. I just like the bios and compact design.

That be said , I like to take the top 200 rankings and see who might be available when we are on the clock. I then select players at or below the number of the selction that we are picking. In other words, since we are picking 8th I go on the assumption that none of the 7 top ranked players are left.

PFW has QB-Smith,RB-Benson,WR-Ebwards,RB-Brown,QB-Rodgers,CB-Pacman, and DE-James as the top 7 players, thus, for the sake of my scenario. already gone when we get on the clock.

Here are 3 groups of players hypothetically available when we pick. WHich of the groupings would you prefer.

1st Group:
At #8- RB-Cadillac Williams
At #44- CB-Marlin Jackson
At #75- OG-Chris Kemoeatu
At #95- FS- Sean Considine

or....
At #8- CB-Antrell Rolle
At #44- RB- Ciatrick Fason
At #75- QB- Andrew Walter
At #95- OG- Claude Terrell

or....
At #8- LB- Derrick Johnson
At #44-OG- Logan Mankins
At #75-RB- Vernand Morency
At #95- CB- Antonio Perkins

or any of the combinations above.

The possibilities are endless..........but we need something to talk about before the draft!

I take #1 because I want Kemo, as the next Conrad Dobler, in a Cards uniform.

Using only the above selections, I'd do it like this:

At #8- CB-Antrell Rolle
At #44- RB- Ciatrick Fason
At #75- OG-Chris Kemoeatu
At #95- CB- Antonio Perkins


Although I have to admit, Cadillac Williams would be REALLY hard to pass up.

I think Kemoeatu might be there at #95, in which case I'd take Matt Jones at #75 if available and take CK at #95.

I love the First group with one exception. Put Antonio Perkins @ #95 in place of Sean Considine. If those were our first 4 rounds I don't think anyone could complain. We pick up another 4 possible starters in areas of need.
