Actually I'm happy he scored a big contract. Something that should have been given for the player playing the most physically demanding position when he was in his prime.

Unfortuanatly, I think we're gonna see pudge suffer the fate of every other great-hitting, Hall of Fame-quality catcher when they break the 32 year old barrier....

Honestly though it may sound weird....but if he can improve the pitching staff, keep baserunners honest, and if the other free agents don't get any major injuries - Detroit could take their division!
