I can just imagine the interview where he says "Its not about the money..."

Actually I'm happy he scored a big contract. Something that should have been given for the player playing the most physically demanding position when he was in his prime.

Unfortuanatly, I think we're gonna see pudge suffer the fate of every other great-hitting, Hall of Fame-quality catcher when they break the 32 year old barrier....

Then they'll move him to 1B or 3B or LF.

Honestly though it may sound weird....but if he can improve the pitching staff, keep baserunners honest, and if the other free agents don't get any major injuries - Detroit could take their division!:shock:

I guess it is all about the money for Pudge, because there is no other reason to go to Detroit
