Two of the biggest local soccer tournaments of the year are taking place ― one last weekend; one this coming weekend ― right in Loves Park at Sportscore Two.
The Puri Cup College Showcase was last weekend and the Puri Champions Cup is this weekend, all at Sportscore Two and Wedgbury Stadium. Teams are comprised of athletes from the ages of 8 to 19 on the male side and 11 to 19 on the female side. They come in from across the Midwest, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana and Minnesota.
