oh yeah -- the kicker:

Since taking over as GM (6 drafts), Steve Keim has used 9 draft picks on offensive linemen:

two 1sts (7th overall -- Cooper) and 24th (DJ Hump)
a 3rd (Mason Cole)
three 4ths ( Watford, Dorian Johnson and Evan Boehm)
two 5ths (Will Holden and Cole Toner)
one 7th (Kory Cunningham)

he has also thrown some big money: Veldheer, Iupati and Pugh. Not sure he got full value given the cost out of Iupati or Pugh. Got two good years out of Veldheer, but not sure what happened after that.

I also think you can, in part, trace the o-line issues to the misses of the 2016 and 2017 drafts: o-linemen taken in rounds 4 and 5 both of those years, but none of the four are on the roster.

I wouldn't expect all four to be good, but I expect you would have found 1 quality starter, and maybe one depth guy.
