PWHL fans are watching the 2025 IIHF World Championships with avid interest, not only for how their favorite players will fare, but to see what, if any, impact there will be on their PWHL team when the season restarts April 26.

Mrazova Looks Strong In Return

Katerina Mrazova returned to the ice after nearly two months on injured reserve. Mrazova was hurt on February 13 against the Minnesota Frost, and has not played a PWHL game since. In 11 games this season, Mrazova had six points for the Ottawa Charge.

In her one and only PWHL appearance this season, Klara Peslarova stepped into the Boston Fleet crease with her team trailing. She stopped all 15 shots she faced and earned a win as the Fleet came back to win.

In her first game since then, Peslarova stepped into Czechia's crease and made 26 saves for a 3-0 shutout to open the 2025 IIHF women's World Championships.
