The Pe Ell-Willapa Valley softball team played two games in Auburn on Friday, coming away with a 23-4 win over Kentwood and losing 21-2 to Graham-Kapowsin.

The Titans couldn't be stopped at the plate in the third inning against Kentwood, as they scored 19 runs to break a 4-4 tie.

Jillian Hodel allowed just one earned run in her five innings in the circle, while Lorelei Smaciarz collected three hits, hit a home run, and drove in seven runs at the plate.

Karli Phelps drove in another four, and Tylar Keeton went 3 for 4 with a triple and a pair of RBIs. Lauren Matlock tallied two hits, drove in two runs, and scored three times.

Graham-Kapowsin had a big inning of its own against the Titans in their second game, as the Eagles scored 12 runs in the fourth to extend its 5-2 lead to a 17-2 lead.

Sophia Milanowski hit a home run in the loss, and the other run came across on an RBI groundout from Keeton.
