Sorry guys. I got busy with work and completely forgot about this. Basically he was saying that even though they didn't beat the ravens it showed progress because before the team would have quit at the half. He also said that it doesn't really matter which QB starts against the steelers because he and the team have faith in both and that they are both good QB's.

Looks like the PR department got to him after his more candid remarks in the wake of the game.

Looks like he is saying the exact same thing as he did with his candid remarks in the wake of the game...."one is going to be great, one is a Super Bowl QB."

Unless you want to read more into it than was said, not knowing the questions that were asked post game.

All I know is that in his most recent comments he is speaking in the present tense, and in the earlier remarks he spoke of Matt in the future tense and only Kurt in the present.

Reading too much into it? Perhaps, maybe that's not what he meant but the line he gave in this interview sounds suggested by the Cards organization.

You didn't even hear the interview, and you are reading a TON into "going to be great" from the previous one (which you also didn't hear...just heard the way a reporter chose to give it to you).
