If you look at anything analyzing the Arizona Cardinals' positional needs entering the 2025 NFL draft, you will likely see wide receiver listed. Cards Wire agrees with that notion.

After all, while they do have Marvin Harrison Jr. entering his second NFL season, the rest of the receiver room includes Michael Wilson, who has not yet reached 600 yards in a season, Zay Jones, who had eight whole catches in 2024, Greg Dortch, who has not yet reached 500 yards in a season and a bunch of players who have not done much.

Adding another top-end receiver talent would make sense.

Quarterback Kyler Murray doesn't think so.

Murray, promoting his charity softball game, appeared on the PHNX Cardinals podcast and talked a little bit about draft prospects with hosts Bo Brack and Johnny Venerable.

Murray hasn't paid a lot of attention to the receivers in the draft. Why? "I don't think that's an area of need," he said.

He expects big things from Harrison in 2025 and said that Wilson can be productive, too.

"I truly believe Mike can have a thousand yards and be very comparable to the guys that we see doing it year and year and year, but it's all about opportunity, staying healthy and the connection that we have on the field," he said.

The Cardinals could draft a receiver. It would not be surprising to see them add someone on Day 1 or Day 2 of the draft.

But Murray is willing to ride with the guys already on the roster.
