Whats the story on this Jrue Holiday prospect? He seems to be very similar to Harden (5 star SG who can light it up). I read a couple stories on him in which he named UofA, UCLA, ASU, Texas, and Washington his top-5. He's class of 2008 so there's a lot of time left. I also read that his parents played basketball at ASU and he has spoken highly of us in the media. We are a longshot due to Hardens signing and also the caliber of teams we're going up against (although we got Harden over the same teams). Anyways, was hoping you could fill us in on his story

Holliday some think is the best player in his class nationally, most have him #1 in the west, top 5 nationally. UW has a big in, they signed older brother Justin, a good prospect but not on Jrue's level and most are sure UW did it to try and get Jrue. He likes UNC too but they are the leader for Tyreke Evans and if they get Evans, he probably won't go to UNC.

UCLA has 2 guards signed already but wants him anyways, Anderson is one of his best friends, a terrific PG prospect but no doubt UCLA is aware signing Anderson might help get Jrue.

He's an ASU legacy, and he likes UA too. Supposedly at the UCLA skills camp the only negative thing was he said he likes to run, some took that as a knock on UCLA's offense. He was the star of the camp, I saw about 10 minutes of footage on BRO, he was clearly better than Russell Westbrook who's having a nice freshman year for UCLA so far. Just does it all, intense defender, can shoot, handle, pass, can play either guard spot. Great player reportedly a one and done though.

Virtually every team in the West has him as a #1 prospect in that class.

USC has some folks who say they have the edge on Jrue, I hadn't really considered it real but they did just get a verbal from Jennings and nobody expected that and he and Jrue together for one year would be great.
