Oakland Raiders cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie announced Tuesday that he is retiring, effective immediately. A kid with one kid and no college offers lasted 11 years in the NFL." A product of Tennessee State, he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals as the No. 16 overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft and played his first three seasons with the team. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, he signed with Oakland in August.
