Coaches make gut calls all the time. Is what it is. He probably didn't like what his defense did in the last series. I don't think it was outrageously dumb. Like some of his others in the past was my point.

It was betting the game on the 4th. FG is a high % play. Not getting 4th is essentially game over. If it wasn't so late in game, fine.

The sad thing is every NFL team knows running directly at Donald is effective because it uses his athleticism against him. In run discipline, he’s often out of position in beating his opponent.

Ok. Gotcha. Getting the fourth when your analytics show that you are decent on those downs I guess would be the decision. But I hear. I would have been happy with a FG obviously.
