Competent leadership and elite coach. Must be niceYea how the Rams just Dole out massive contract after massive contract is beyond me.
They do have their limits. They didn't sign Von to that massive deal he just got, even though they wanted to re-sign him.Yea how the Rams just Dole out massive contract after massive contract is beyond me.
Better than breaking wind, but in his case it could be the same thingWhen did Richard Sherman start breaking news on twitter?
It helps when Stafford only costs $13.5M against the cap this year. That's an amazing price for a Vet QB.Yea how the Rams just Dole out massive contract after massive contract is beyond me.
People wanting to play for youwhat does your coach have to do with the Salary cap?
Downside for him but better than anything the Cards have right now IMO. He still has some left in the tank, IMO, maybe not 5 years but 2 or 3 probably.Bobby Wagner has been on the downside the past 2 years, but he’ll probably return to his own self playing with a much better front 4 + better DC.
7 sacks in 200 defensive snaps?Meanwhile, Keim's biggest defensive contract this offseason went to an undersized OLB with 7 sacks in 4 years for $4 million/year.
interesting take. Are we to assume people dislike KK or are more just turned off by the teams wobbly future?People wanting to play for you
Turned off more by the wobbly past. The prime FA if given the choice between the Rams, Ravens, etc. are going there (or have to be massively over paid). Just my opinion.interesting take. Are we to assume people dislike KK or are more just turned off by the teams wobbly future?
I agree overall but the strategy has already worked for them. They got the Super Bowl win. More than the cardinals can say ever.If we signed a 32 year old LB to a 5 year deal at $10m per this board would go nuts.
It's probably more like a 2 year $15m per deal when the detail comes out.
But either way, no thanks.
The Cards ain't competing with the Rams. Even trying to would be a ridiculous waste of resources. The Rams were already way ahead of us in roster construction and if we went out and blew this year and next years cap all at once we would still be lagging.
We are building a roster for 2nd place and the playoffs. Better to save the cap space until the Rams strategy catches up with them, which it eventually will.
