Much has been made about the Los Angeles Rams’ outstanding offense after leading the NFL in scoring a year ago. They swapped out Sammy Watkins for Brandin Cooks, extended Todd Gurley and kept the starting offensive line intact. However, the defense could be the better half of the team in 2018 after adding the likes of Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Ndamukong Suh. It’s only training camp, but the defense has been very good in practice, which Jared Goff and Sean McVay have discussed multiple times. Instead of Goff throwing into the tight windows created by Peters, Talib and the rest of the secondary, it was Joe Flacco and the Ravens’ quarterbacks’ turn.
