The Los Angeles Rams' first-round draft pick could go in a number of different ways.

The Rams need support at linebacker and cornerback but could also add depth at receiver or offensive line. Even adding a quarterback late in the draft or trading out of the No. 26 pick isn't out of the question for L.A.

NFL.com analyst Charles Davis released his second mock draft with a month before the first round and picked Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson with the Rams' selection.

"Jackson was primarily a guard at Ohio State, but he kicked out to left tackle when Josh Simmons was sidelined by an injury last season," Davis wrote. "I see Jackson playing inside for the Rams, possibly allowing Steve Avila to move to center."

The key element of this pick is flexibility. The Rams' starting two tackle positions are set, as well as right guard Kevin Dotson. But the left guard and center positions remain in flux with Avila and current center Beaux Limmer. The Rams added Coleman Shelton as a possible starting center, too, but Davis believes Avila could take the position from Limmer if L.A. wanted to start Jackson at guard immediately.

Either way, Jackson wouldn't solve an immediate position of need for the Rams but he would give the team a lot of mobility on the line. And given the amount of injuries the team endured at that position in 2024, it's not a bad move.
