Mock draft season is in full swing with less than a month before the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Los Angeles Rams have some work to do with their roster, and should be able to shore up some positions of need with three picks in the first 101 selections. On offense, the Rams could use a tight end, linemen, receivers and even a development quarterback. On defense, the Rams really need secondary help as well as inside linebacker depth. They can always use more defensive linemen, too.
CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson mapped out the first three rounds of the draft in a new mock and gave the Rams a mix of Week 1 impact players, developmental prospects and a long-term play at quarterback.
Campbell is a Day 1 starter who would bring energy and firepower to the Rams defense. Using a first-round pick on an off-ball linebacker is a risk and uncharacteristic for this team, but Campbell is a good enough prospect to be worth it for some long-term stability on defense.
Arroyo would join the Rams as another pass-catching option more than a true blocking tight end. He caught 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024 and would likely become the next starting tight end for the Rams, either in 2025 or in the future.
The Rams don't need quarterback help or depth, but Ewers would give the team a possible succession plan if and when Matthew Stafford leaves. Ewers has pro-ready traits and was productive in college, but he needs time to sit back and develop. This would be an ideal spot for him to do that, although it would cost the Rams a Day 2 pick to focus on their future.

Round 1, Pick No. 26: Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell
Campbell is a Day 1 starter who would bring energy and firepower to the Rams defense. Using a first-round pick on an off-ball linebacker is a risk and uncharacteristic for this team, but Campbell is a good enough prospect to be worth it for some long-term stability on defense.
Round 3, Pick No. 90: Miami TE Elijah Arroyo
Arroyo would join the Rams as another pass-catching option more than a true blocking tight end. He caught 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024 and would likely become the next starting tight end for the Rams, either in 2025 or in the future.
Round 3, Pick No. 101: Texas QB Quinn Ewers
The Rams don't need quarterback help or depth, but Ewers would give the team a possible succession plan if and when Matthew Stafford leaves. Ewers has pro-ready traits and was productive in college, but he needs time to sit back and develop.
