Seated in front of a global media audience and with 'NBA Finals' all over the backdrop, Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri took questions regarding his team's first-ever trip to the biggest stage in basketball. “Welcome to Toronto, really exciting time for us in this city, I think it's such a blessing to have the opportunity for our team, our city, our country to play in the NBA Finals,” Ujiri said as an opening. When Ujiri made the trade for Kawhi Leonard and sent away Toronto's son of nine years DeMar DeRozan, the early reports that the former Spurs superstar didn't want to be a part of the Raptors organization had fans emotionally getting yanked in both directions.
