hm, he won't do the damage the admiral did back then.
he may be a better fit than brad miller because rasho not so much of an outside shooter. but rasho still only going to be duncan's assistant and stephen jackson (if he resigns) and parker will be bigger parts of the team than rasho.

I think he will do more than Robinson did this year. All that does is make them stronger for a longer period of time. Another big difference is if needed to, he can step up. David couldnt always do that last season

Wow. I mean I know Nesterovic is younger and healthier, but I like Robinson's defense better. When I looked back at the numbers have surprised to see that Robinson averaged only 8.5 ppg last season. Nesterovic averaged 11.2 ppg.

I still think $45 million over 6 years is a steep price to pay for a guy who averaged 11.2 ppg and 6.6 rpg in 30.4 mpg last season.

This does help San Antonio, but it hurts Minnesota who I believe the Suns will be battling for one of the last 4 playoff spots in the Western Conference this season. It appears the Timberwolves also missed out on Juwan Howard. A week ago it looked like that T-Wolves were going to be much improved make season. Now their frontcourt is in dire straits. They probably should have drafted someone like Jerome Beasley instead of a project like Ebi.

If I were the spurs, I would've offered that deal to Olowokandi who is going to take the 4.9 mil exception from Minnesota.

Is that speculation, or is it actually being reported? I know some people like Nesterovic. I know some people don't like Michael Olowokandi. I think that's an upgrade for Minnesota.

Then how about 40 mil. over 5 years for P.J.Brwon who is 7 years older than Rasho?

I thought that was too much to pay as well.

I think it was an excellent move by Popovic.
Rasho is a perfect fit for San Antonio, and I think he still has not reached his full potential.
