man... will anyone touch him with a ten foot pole this season? I'll be surprised.

I can see someone kicking tires in the off-season, but right now? it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Seahawks or Niners... Both can stash and keep him for next season, when they may need new starters...Carrol doesn't care about thug status of his players and Harbaugh has all the inside info that matters.

I bet it would be a team with play off hopes, I doubt a scrub team would want all the media shots.

Maybe the Jets? What's another media circus to them, anyway?

Anybody actually watch him play last year? He's done IMO...

May very well be the case, but a guy can resurrect himself quickly if the chip on his shoulder is big enough. His legs are rested enough that I can see him making a difference for a relatively short period of time. We NEED RB's.

Cards already signed Michael Bush.

Fantasy Football Buy Or Sell: Ray Rice

http://www.rantsports.com/fantasy/2014/08/21/fantasy-football-buy-or-sell-ray-rice/

According to Pro Football Focus, out of 55 qualified running backs (based on playing time), Rice was the worst running back in football. He was graded lower than guys like Bilal Powell, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Bernard Pierce (his teammate) and Rashard Mendenhall.

When you sort those 55 running backs by their grades as just pure runners (not taking into account things like blocking, pass catching) it gets even uglier. Not only was Rice the worst runner in the league, he was by a long shot. Maurice Jones-Drew had the second worst rushing grade at -6.6; Rice’s grade was -12.5 — only five guys received a grade of -5.0 or worse.

Rice was, without a doubt, the worst running back in the NFL last season and it’s not like we should expect some drastic bounce-back at age 27, after six years and 1,430 carries.

Nobody signs him. Between his public toxicity, and the fact that he was CLEARLY on the steep decline last year - it's just not worth the risk and backlash. And the dude hasn't suited up all year and who knows what kind of shape he's in, with all the distractions he's had. Nothing to see here, move along...

He's a worse RB than a human being. That's saying a lot.

Hip injury last season....looked pretty quick in pre season this year.....

Pundits were speculating Indy or Arizona.....if he was prime I could support the move....just do not think he is prime.

No way the Cards take him with BA's ties to helping battered women. He'll be lucky to be in the league next year, much less this one.

So would he probably have to take the League minimum? And would that be reduced/pro rated due to the time left in the season?

He'd have real fresh legs.. I'm for it! It could be the answer we've been looking for honestly. Late in year with backup qb. I'd take rice over this bush guy! Anyone wanna argue that?

If you're referring to the Arena Football League, he's not built for that. To be a successful RB in that league you need to be basically a converted lineman.

They are allowed to run in the AFL? lol Hmm learn somethin new everyday! :) jk
