I don't think anyone picks him up this late in the season. It's far to late to teach him the blocking schemes, so whenever he would be put in it almost has to be 100% that he is getting the ball to run and he will be crushed.
I think the most likely scenario is he gets signed in the offseason by someone for league minimum plus incentives. And, no, no way in hell will he be a Cardinal.
The only team I can think of who might sign a player like this is the Bengals. My wife said Raiders, but I don't thnk they'd take the PR hit in a 1 win season.
Dwyer is getting due process through the courts after his arrest. The fact that the Rice PR machine is in full motion with his supportive victim wife leading the charge. Dwyer doesn't have such a machine or a supportive victim so his situation will look different.
