okay,...I am on track with most of you in the idea that reboots usually should never be done.
However, yesterday I saw something on FB that talked about wanting to see a reboot of SPAWN, with modern graphics, and an "R" rating.

I like the idea.

Spawn was a good show, but at the time CG was still pretty new and it was a bit cagey ....... IMO a Spawn reboot with a good budget and a director not afraid to push boundaries would be an excellent movie to see in theaters.

what do you think??... Also, what else might be a reboot you would spend your hard earned cash to see?

The Ultraman rumors also have me intrigued.........

Live action Thundercats?

I think a Spawn reboot would be cool. The live action movie wasn't very good at all. I used to love the animated series on HBO. It would be cool if they could get some of those folks involved in a modern remake.

You know it will happen some day. Most all of the cool movies back in the day that needed cgi will get a reboot, redo. Its bound to happen and I know Stout will be tearing into it when each one of them is announced. :)

You know what I need to see right now?

--All-Female version of The Breakfast Club
--All-Male version of Charlie's Angels (with Drew Barrymore as Bosley)
--A Home Alone that is a hard-R
--Live-Action Futurama
--A Marvel/Star Wars Crossover
--Anything that reunites Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez (Men at Work II, anyone?)
--A production of Othello, where the title actor is white
--Nacho Libre 2
--Labyrinth II, Directed by Duncan Jones and starring David Bowie's hologram
--Fletch: Starring Dane Cook

Nacho Libre 2 is one of my votes. The only thing is I don't want it to ruin the nostalgia part of it if the movie is bad.

just saw an article... McFarland has just finished a new Spawn script,...he wants to direct it himself....says he has written it for a lower budget so they will let him direct....IMO he has gone the wrong route....write it for a real budget, let someone else direct, let the true potential of Spawn be realized....
