I found this interesting....

".....Just remember one thing: They're knee-jerk reactions. We live in a time of immediacy.

So we do them quickly after the draft.
But the real draft grades come three years later. That's the time it takes for things to play out.
So now it's time to re-grade the 2007 draft.
These grades are ones that count.
Arizona Cardinals
The best pick came in the fifth round when they landed receiver Steve Breaston. He will be a starter this year and has been a good No. 3 the past couple of years. That's a steal. Seventh-round tight end Ben Patrick is a solid player when healthy. First-round pick Levi Brown has been a starter at right tackle and will move to the left side this season. He hasn't been as good as his high draft status, but he's solid. Alan Branch, the second-round pick, also hasn't lived up to the hype as a defensive tackle.
Grade: C+ ........"

Thanks for the post.

It seems to me that most of the grades were much lower than those given following the draft. Hindsight being such fun, I enjoyed the article.

I thought the overall assessment was pretty much right on. I'd like to see more of this coming before the 4th year after the draft. It really shows how ones expectations are inflated right after the draft.

Cards get a C+ just for Buster Davis.

The other 4 picks have turned out fairly well.
