Just a suggestion but if we do start redoing this I think these: http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/f12/movie-a-day-list-38549.html

Should be listed alphabetically rather than by # that way anyone who wants to post a movie could easily scroll to the point in the list where their intended movie would be and see if it has already been done. It got to be areal pain in the butt scrolling through almost 400 every time it was your turn. Even then it might be possible to miss something if your skimming over it. Just an idea.

I could work on that, or you can go to that thread and go to the top and click "Search this thread" as long as the word you search for isn't too short or too common.

Also - We can pick up where we left off or archive the old list, sign people up and start completely over.

I have no problem either way with it. Maybe turn the list alphabetical and then start a brand new one for the new movies.

I didn't post often when this was running before and although I knew of it, I rarely read anything but the Suns and Cards boards. I think you should start over, with or without the original list. In addition to those of us that just lurked, there are a lot newbies here that might enjoy it. OTOH, only 5 of us have voted so maybe there isn't much interest.

7 now, but if you think about it, that's 35 movies over 7 weeks. That's not a bad start.

Alphabetical List

I just did this in UltraEdit super quick, so titles that start with "A" or "The" will be with the A's & T's instead of the 2nd word of the title, etc., but it's a start.

If any forum mod wants to add it to the original thread, that's cool. It's closed so I can't.

Next year after the football season, I'd like to take that list or a list of movies I own and watch one movie per day and comment about it. Linder would watch it with me.....right?

Why do it after the season, you could start now since you have nothing invested in the Cardinals.

We usually made it so someone would only be responsible for 5 days instead of 7--easier to schedule that way. And they can mix and match. :D

So you have a Sunday to Sunday and you can do movies on 5 of those days. If you want to do 7, that's perfectly fine, but I thought 5 was a safe number.

That's fine too. I just thought it would be fun, not only talking about movies, but also finding out what everyone's tastes are. You know, like Mulli doing Transformers 2 and Police Academy 4.

No way, I barely made it through the first Police Academy.

Ok, we've got 11 "yes" votes and I'll just need to put together a schedule list and we can look to start next week.

What does everyone thing: Sunday to Saturday? Monday to Sunday? For each person.

Sorry that I haven't gotten to this--I've been incredibly stressed out about being unemployed, and things aren't getting better, so I've sort of forgotten about it.
