So at the Diamondbacks game today i was at the left field bleacher seats next to the Diamondbacks bullpen. When they showed Barry's 756th home run, i figured i would see it hundreds of more times anyway, so instead of looking at the jumbo tron i looked at the Dbacks relievers.
Doug Slaten- Way too excited for Bonds, he was standing up clapping with eyes glued to the jumbo tron.
Jose Valverde- looked like he was about to lose his lunch.
Brandon Lyon and Juan Cruz- no reaction
Tony Pena- also looked disgusted, and once the crowd quieted down i asked Pena to promise to drill him the next time he faced him and he looked amused.

so my question... do players who have been in the league for a couple of years have as little respect as the majority of fans do? or maybe just pitchers. haha just thought it was interesting to see a few players reactions.

It seems that whenever a player is asked about it, they all have the same answer. 'I'm happy for him, he's a great player Blah blah'

I'd like to see a player have a negative reaction about the whole thing.

Ask Curt Schilling.
