Read Messages problem

Everytime I log into the site all the forums are highlighted like there are new messages, but I've already read them. Is there a way to fix it?

Well, maybe logging in and out does that...i'm not sure...i am always logged in...

No, I logged off and back on, and it kept the threads lit that i haven't read yet...

i prefer it alot more to just show me the topics that have been active since my last visit. if i havent read a certain topic for 2 days im not interested in seeing it bold s much as i am any topics with new info.

There is a note up top in the announcements.

For the new marking system, the first thing you should do is click on "Mark Forums Read" at the bottom of the main forums page.

Going forward, it will list the new posts since you last visited.
