We are right where we want to be my Big Red friends. It's the Cardinals against the world (media) in the playoffs and I wouldn't want it any other way. Sure I hope they win the next 2 games but even if they don't it all means nothing once we get to playoff time!

Enjoy the next few weeks and the upcoming holidays. Then it will be time for Home playoff game and a Superbowl run!

Like your optimisim, but don't see us being right where we want to be. I see us as Cards against the rest of the NFL and frankly, if we don't improve dramaticly in some areas we will not have any playoff success.

Special team coverage is horrible.
Run game is non existant.
Poor tackling and giving up way to many big plays of defense.

We have two games to fix these areas.

All i know is this is a young team and anytime over the past few years when a big game came to town (Pittsburgh in '07, Dallas in '08- even Chicago in '06) the Cardinals show up and play as good as any team in the NFL. I fully expect that for the playoff game!

It'll be fun as hosting a playoff game hasn't happend ever here in the desert, and for this franchise it's been 61 years since we last hosted a playoff game...
BUT - the best we can hope for is that we get Tampa Bay @ home... Any other team and we will simply have to make do with a home playoff loss... I can still live with that though...

I agree 100%. Its easy to get caught up in the Minnesota game but honestly by this time a year we are usually discussing our Top 5 pick and who our next coach might be- LOL.

Go Cardinals!

Good assessment. I hope the Cards are fortunate and get Atlanta or Tampa Bay at home in the playoff game. The Eagles and Cowboys are making a run and either of those teams will give us problems at home.

Scott, I would agree with you, but beating a NFC East team like Philly or Dallas might give the Cardinals the psychological edge to win on the road the next game.

All I can say is Edge is fresh and healthy and can pick up the blitz.... Wonder if that is in the plan?

I don't see the Cowboys and Eagles as being all that superior to the Bucs and Falcons. No matter of the four, we could win, we could lose.

If we can pull of a win of any kind in Foxboro, AND take care of the Seahawks in impressive fashion, then I believe we would get that edge we needed moving forward. That said, I doubt very much it will play out that way.
