Not saying we would have won the Laker game, but certainly the Mavs game, and some of the other recent loses. Watching the second team play, they are playing as hard as ever. The second team is struggling on offense. They were scoring at a fairly brisk team of bench guys, buy not have really slowed down with Barbosa out. Frankly, some of our wins early in the season had a lot to do with our bench outplaying the other team's bench. I am amazed none of the media are picking up on the impact of Barbosa being out for the Suns. Arguably, Barbosa is one of the top sixth men in the entire league. Hard to replace that, imho!

You're right. The Suns need Barbosa's points off the bench not to mention his speed and penetration to the basket.

Well yeah surely he is missed, but I would also add trying to incorporate the big stiff (Lopez) is disrupting as well! We were cruising I was afraid when he got healthy it might disrupt the chemistry that was working so well up until then.

The one time I thought Robin really looked good was when we played the Lakers and Bynum was just killing us. When Robin was in, Bynum was slowed down. I think we need him against big centers. But certainly not all the time. Now, how do you keep him engaged all season if you only played him in certain games? Also, maybe we need to move Channing to the bench while Barbosa is hurt to give us that extra shooter off the bench. Just a thought.

Does that mean that either Jaron Collins or Robin Lopez will start the center? Hopefully with Barbs out, Earl Clark will get more minutes, and maybe even Alando Tucker. RoLo is a waste of court space, and a waste of a draft pick. Mareese Speights would've been way better. :bang::bang::bang:

Forget that idea of Frye coming off the bench. Watching Lopez and Collins tonight, not a good idea! I retract that idea! :D

I dunno, Its not like barbosa was playing at the 6th man of the year level he used to be 3 years ago before he got hurt. I honestly dont think the suns miss his 11ppg THAT much.

Although to be fair it looks like the suns are 4-8 since hes been out, and Im not that big of a barbosa fan either.

Ok, that is just not true. A guy that can come in and give you 20 and if he is not, his presence opens up the floor for other bench players.

Yea, hes ok. Seems like he can shoot other teams BACK INTO games just as much as he sparks us off the bench.

I love Barbosa. He gave our second unit spark tonight. We've been missing that.

LB helps stabilize the second unit especially with Dragic playing PG. It's nice to have another ball handler on the court not to mention the other assets he brings to the game. LB's speed gives the Suns some explosiveness.

Aside from lack of conditioning, I liked LB after the injury better as he seemed better under control.

I agree. I am watching the game against the Celtics and he seems really focused out there.

the celtics' mascot almost injured LB yesterday.

tsk tsk
yeah he knew what he was doing too, with that last foul of his. not good when you know you lost and you commit a foul like that.
