Red Eye

Release Date: August 19, 2005
Studio: DreamWorks Pictures
Director: Wes Craven
Screenwriter: Carl Ellsworth
Genre: Thriller
MPAA Rating: PG-13 (for some intense sequences of violence, and language)
Website: Red Eye

Starring: Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy

Plot Summary: From director Wes Craven (the "Scream" franchise) comes "Red-Eye," a suspense thriller at 30,000 feet.

Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) hates to fly, but the terror that awaits her on the night flight to Miami has nothing to do with a fear of flying.

Moments after takeoff, Lisa's seatmate, Jackson (Cillian Murphy), menacingly reveals the real reason he's on board: He is an operative in a plot to kill a rich and powerful businessman... and Lisa is the key to its success. If she refuses to cooperate, her own father will be killed by an assassin awaiting a call from Jackson. Trapped within the confines of a jet at 30,000 feet, Lisa has nowhere to run and no way to summon help without endangering her father, her fellow passengers and her own life. As the miles tick by, Lisa knows she is running out of time as she desperately looks for a way to thwart her ruthless captor and stop a terrible murder.

Watched this last night.

This movie was midly entertaining ON the airplane despite some frustrating moments of "why doesn't she just do THIS??", but when they gt off the plane it got totally ridiculous.

I felt like she was a two year old that I wanted to tell "when you're in trouble, just go to the authorities. They'll help you, okay, honey? Find a policeman."

I would have to agree.

Good movie.

Yeah, it was pretty entertaining...there were a few parts you wanted to yell at her...like when she found out the guy is just "waiting" for his call to kill her dad...well then, ask for help, keep him off the phone and you'll be fine...

Anyways, a good, fun movie...McAdams is great...I love her ;)

Watched it last night. Not as scary as I'd thought it would be. Entertaining. I think the female character summed it up best when she told the bad guy towards the end, "You're pathetic!"

this movie was dumb as hell. Stupid plot, stupid storyline, and ridiculous dialog. I hated it.

I just watched it. The above quote pretty much sums it up. I'm just glad that Rachel McAdams was in it. The ending was really dumb.
